I would also like to thank you for the prompt and professional service that I have received.I started this endeavor looking for a battery but what I found is a Service Center that I can trust with my iPhones. Your company will be my only source for repairs in the future. I am also going to let everyone I know with an iPhone or iPod that TopTechies is the place to send for a reliable repair.

to receive the news that my iPhone 3G has been brought back from the dead! You received it yesterday, and are shipping it back tomorrow! I cannot ask for better service than that. I really appreciate the personal calls to alert me as to its condition and arrival. For anyone else who is clumsy enough to immerse a phone in water, or has a battery problem, I surely will recommend your services.

...to perform this repair using the instructions located on this site! Having a dental pick and fine point tweezers handy helps for cleaning the adhesive and removing the "DO NOT REMOVE" sticker.
Rather than pivoting the motherboard up with the camera still attached, it is easier to simply disconnect the camera first (and remove the screw and bracket that holds it in).
Battery life was significantly improved over my aging OEM battery at a fraction of the cost Apple would charge to do the same 15 minute repair. My old battery was getting 6 hours of standby time at best and after installing the new one, I'm back to about 1.5 days between charges with normal everyday use. (Not too impressive but you can blame Apple for that one...)
This is a very complete kit, and I'm 100% satisfied with the price, the shipping (FAST!), and most importantly, the results!
